Blogging and other similar web technologies

During this session we look at the basics of blogging as a way to deliver content to a web site. Each student will be given a web space and a blog. From this day, students will be able to post items to their blog using a basic template but without styling.

The lecture will consider Social Media and the following topics: 

• What is Blogging?
• the assignment for this unit of the course
• The basics of the assignments and how you will develop your skills
• Some examples of students' work from previous years
• Posting to Your blog
• Types of Content that you can use
