Old Times / New Times
At the Digital Technology & Heritage Conference at the University of Bath we were delighted to discover that the Oakfield Campus in Swindon is the home of the Museum of Computing.
This has only been going since February 2003 and has many gems including this Research Machines 380Z.
A sense of nostalgia came over us as we fondled the rubbery keys of the long forgotten Sinclair Spectrum.

The Digital Technology & Heritage conference was a very interesting event and notable amongst the presentations was a session by Kate Steiner of the London Science Museum on Web audience Usability Testing. I was looking forward to the presentation by Jason Siddal on the Digital Resource project on Lundy Island. The National Trust has conducted an archaeological survey of the island and made the available online. Oxford ArchDigital have used this digital data to show off their system here
