Google Pages

Do we need DreamWeaver courses anymore? Do we need web authoring tools at all?

Google do not appear to have announced this yet but if you care to go here, you can sign up and start creating your own pages right away. This site uses AJAX, so is not likely to work in all browsers. Apple’s Safari is not supported (no surprise there).

I have created a page here. Apologies if you get some 404s, because this seems a bit unreliable right now.

It is possible to choose from a number of templates and to even select a layout (2 or 3 columns etc). This seems pretty comprehensive for most users so this should provide enough variation.

At the moment, this is very buggy. Images don't seem to appear always, and links to the enlarged version is broken. The pages don't validate with upwords of 9 errors . I am sure Google will get this right soon.
