Background to the backgrounds

I am now delivering the new Institute of Historical and Cultural Studies web site with a background image underneath the Brookes brand!

You might be intersted to know 2 things:

The image itself is a collage made up of text from a copy of the first folio of The Tempest, by William Shakespeare, and a piece of an engraving of Hamlet.

The background is delivered using the background CSS rule but is rather cleverly applied by giving the body of the IHCR pages a class and then applying this background image to the body element when it has a class defined thus:

body class="ihcr"
