I am now using Coda.
Used up the tryout period and have now committed some money for real!
What a tremendous tool this is but wait.... I still have some niggles. I love it but how can I deal with all the other lovely tools that now clutter my applications folder. What shall I do with BBedit? And what of TextMate? My students need to use Dreamweaver (unfortunately), so I still need to know all about that too.

We must be grateful to Kerri Hicks for this article (PHP and XML Sitting in a Tree) over at Digital Web
Kerry points out that with PHP 5 we can use a new function called SimpleXML that makes it very easy to extract data from an XML file and display on a web page. She has some interesting examples including getting book data from the ISBN database. Just one problem - you must have PHP5. Right now I don’t have this here, so time to get in touch with my hosts!

A few months ago, top news agency Reuters was severely criticized for publishing digitally altered photos from Lebanon. The unfortunate incident is now better known as the “Adnan Hajj photographs controversy,” leaving a dark blemish in the use of digital photography for news reportage.
