Great pity that the row between public and private has caused the demise of the BBC's educational online resource, known as BBC jam.

Ironworks and ePublishing

Over the years, I have been a frequent visitor to the huge vaulted Victorian building that is the main hall at Olympia, London. This week sees the Online-Information show.

For many people these trade shows are important opportunities for meeting clients and signing deals. Indeed, many stands (they call them booths in the USA), have little areas with tables and chairs set up for meetings.

Why do Bloggers stop Blogging?

I went to a presentation at the OII yesterday by Visiting Fellow Dr Jianbin Jin from the School of Journalism and Communication, Tsinghua University, China.

The title of the talk was The sustainability of blogging: a look at Chinese bloggers and the audience were treated to some fascinating statistics around the topic of blogging in China.
