I am using the Amazon API in 2 places. You can see it in action right here. These images and basic information abou this book come from Amazon. I have tried various techniques but currently I am using a module based on the work here.
I also use the API on the School of Arts and Humanities for the staff pages like this one here
When Ralegh (1595) took an expedition to find the mysterious gold of El Dorado, he chose the Orinoco River. He could have chosen the Amazon but, the fabled journey of Aguirre (1560), on that river, only resulted in violence and disaster.
In this little book, Amazon Hacks, you may find your eldorado!
This is the second of the O’Reilly ‘Hacks’ series in my library. More on PDF hacks later.
A book to dip into if you want to find out about the potential for using the fantastic data held at amazon.com. No point in me going into a lot of detail, but you need to know that through the generosity and far-sightedness of the people who run amazon, they have made the access to their API (Application Programming Interface) available for anyone to use. If you read this book, you will discover, that can even make money by selling books (through amazon) on your site.

I like to visit bookshops. I like the feel of books. I like to read.
